The Cobbler was mostly covered in mist or low cloud. On the 22nd i could the base for a few moments. Catch it next time i hope but its well worth a walk if you are fit.

Just come back from a short break in Scotland, bedroom overlooking the Cobbler, partially covered in snow, wonderful.

The Cobbler is a fantastic hill. The walk in is now up a well covered path up to the forest road and the marker posts are quite obvious. We finished our day off with a couple of pints in The Village Inn in Arrochar which topped off a near perfect day.

This is a classic route. But it gets massively busy on a weekend. Where there are literally thousand of people in large lines going up and down. The cobbler is probably best avoided. There are two main routes up both start at the car park in arrow bar but split near the small dam. Or just after the dam and one route attacks the cobbler straight up the other gains height and goes around the back which is longer but less stressful. The cobbler is a hill of different summits. Most people go to the popular summit which is if you have a head for heights. Go through the hole in the rocky outcrop and follow the route to the left and up. Again however on weekends you may have to queue. No fee but the car park is pay and display

Amazing walk and stunning views when you reach half way. we didn't make it all the way due to the rain, but that can't be helped it Scotland after all.

Quite strenuous walk and hill climb but well worth the effort even if you don't quite get to the top, it's worth it to see the stunning views and waterfall! Walking poles advised when wet and slippery!

This walk is great & definitely something worth doing. You have the option of walking round the back of the mountain or scrambling up the shale front. There are buses to and from the base car park but you have to time your walk.

My partner and I walked up the Cobbler on a lovely day in September. We took the well-trodden path up to the Narnain Boulders and then turned off to take the slightly more challenging scramble up (you can carry on up the path to the summit as well). Once at the top it was a bit windy but the views were spectacular - down to Loch Long and Loch Lomond as well as over the neighbouring munros. If you have the nerve for it it is definitely worth 'threading the needle' as we did at the top! We walked back along the ridgeline of Beinn Narnain which again was a beautiful walk down with some fantastic views. Definitely worth doing if you're in the area.

Loved the scenic view - hotel is only 2 years old. Most of the staff were friendly - except for one unhelpful receptionist.

On a misty day when the sun comes out and the mist clears the site of the cobbler is just amazing when it comes in to sight

Beautiful but very frightening looking mountain when you see the three peaks looming ahead, Had a brilliant day on the cobbler, took the tourist route up and came back down the rougher route which involves a bit of scrambling, (wouldn't have liked to go up that way) We never went through the eye of the needle as weather was misty and low clouds. Its a beautiful mountain with 3 peaks so plenty of room for people on the summit, A very enjoyable climb and one I will definitely repeat in the future.
