We went to see the show in February, it was great, the staff were grand, we got a nice wee fizzy pop in the bar/café before hand. A smashing night indeed.As well as great shows, the Lyric has the surprising bonus of there not being a bad seat in the house. Every time I've been I've had a great seat and the architects have done a brilliant job of creating such a wonderful theatre!

As a confirmed regular at The Lyric, I've seen many a good performance, but the evening with Van Morrison was special. Ian Rankin and Michael Longley added a lot to the experience, with an informal interview and poetry reading being part of the gig. I thought it was a good presentation for the first half of the show, with the second half being reserved for the actual concert. Overall it's a convenient venue with plenty of free car parking being available around the embankment, and the cafe is worth popping into at some stage. The design of the building means that from the cafe you can get a brilliant view straight down The Lagan.

So glad to hear you enjoyed your trip, and hopefully we've made a theatre convert of you.We have worked very hard to ensure our new facility is accessible to everyone. Unfortunately we have only been granted enough space for two disabled parking bays at our front entrance by the roads service. However, blue badge holders are permitted to park on the double yellow lines further down Ridgeway Street as long as they are not within the immediate proximity of the corner at the bottom of the street. Please do bear this in mind if you are coming back to us.We are pleased to be able to inform you though that the DOE now have it on their schedules of work to have the pavement lowered outside the venue. We hope this will further assist our customers who use a wheelchair.

However, we do suggest customers to use the public car park at the Stranmillis roundabout which is just a couple of minutes walk from our front doors.We were disappointed to hear we weren't able to accomodate you for food on this occasion, but we very much hope you will join us again so that you can sample our pre theatre menu.
