A must see, one of the best views you could visit. You can follow the coast road for miles. Travelled the road many times, on this occasion took my sister, her husband and young son to Ballycastle. Great to travel as a couple also stopping off at different places along the way.

If you are not in a hurry, the winding coast road north from Larneis beautiful, though best seen in summer.

I have travelled this road so many times and I never tire of it! Beautiful, stunning scenery greet you at every turn. Lots of pretty villages and some great spots for walking. I would recommend travelling with a destination in mind- Either Glenarriff forest park. Cushendun village and its beach or Ballycastle and the North coast. Stop along the way and take lots of photos!

The Antrim Coast Road starts in Larne where I have lived all my life. The journey along this road has the most amazing scenery, fantastic beaches, great places to eat out, brilliant tourist attractions like the famous Giants Causeway and Dunluce Castle. Try the yummy ice-cream at the famous Morellis In Portstewart. Kids will never be bored as there is lots for them to see and do. Why not take them to Carrick-a-rede rope bridge for the ultimate challenge especially if it's a bit windy. Tourists come from all over the world to visit our wonderful Coast Road.

Anyone visiting the North of Ireland must head down the coastal route to the North West. The scenery is breathtaking, and loads of little villages and interesting stops on route.

We were driving from Dublin to the causeway and decided to take the coastal road instead of taking the faster inland route. We were really pleased we did as once you get north of Larne the road hugs the sea and the scenery gets very impressive. Lots of huge bays, headlands, steep cliffs, sea birds and a view across to Scotland and some other islands. If your driving its hard to keep your eyes on the road.Well worth the drive.

The start of one of the most beautiful roads in the world. Do some research and take in the coastal villages of Glenarm, Carnlough, Cushendall, Cushendun as well as the Glens of Antrim. Then you will hit the hairy Torr Head road (not for the fainthearted) before the very well known attractions of the rope bridge, Giants Causeway and Bushmills Distillery. Round off your visit in Portrush and Portstewart, then go home and tell everyone how great it is. However, do start in Larne. Too many folk have missed the start of this adventure.

We travelled along the coast road as far as Port Rush. The scenery was incredible. We were really lucky with the weather & it showed the scenery of sea & mountains to its very best! Very quiet this time of year! Loved every minute

A n exciting road with fabulous scenery. We stopped at a viewpoint beside a church and had a fascinating conversation with an elderly local man who told us he used to drive cattle on the road.

I've been travelling this road regularly since my childhood and am now in my 60's. I used to travel 20 miles of it every day to school and 20 home again. Hated the school but loved the journey. I have my favourite stops, viewpoints etc but there is always something new to see, a fresh scar on the cliffs from a rockfall, the way sunlight bursting out of cloudcover highlights a rock formation you never paid much attention to before. Giving a lift to the "Mad Monk" who compliments you on your choice of music. Rugged, gentle, harsh, soft caressing. If you are rushing to catch a ferry you can do Ballycastle to Larne in an hour, but make sure it's the passanger who's catching the ferry and an early morning one at that, just so you have the whole day to enjoy the return journey! Oh and bring some favourite music with you..........

The coast road allows you to see what you'll never see on a tour bus. Only the vans & cars can get down the narrow roads. THIS IS WHY YOU CAME TO IRELAND. I think Northern Ireland is more beautiful than the Republic. The difference is MARKETING. You've been scared by the "Troubles". The country side is not the City!! Drive Ireland counter clockwise. Stay to the coastal roads and you'll be OK driving on your own.

Recommend for a long relaxing drive on a nice day, some nice views of the sea, mountains and cliffs further towards Ballycastle.

Long and winding road. Make sure you stop in a village and head inland at some point. Turn right when it tells you to go left and follow the torr head road.

The Antrim coast road A2 is a beautiful drive. There are some sections that have narrow roads but it's still worth the drive
