Thos little place is excellente to visit in a short time, but the best of all is that if you search the begging of the path that take the trekkers to the sea; you can see Monaco from the "very top". Is unbelievable!!! Go up as much as you can and you will see some rocks, go to the left side with careful, and THERE IT IS!!! Monaco for you!!!
From Monaco, we drove to La Turbie. The small town is lovely, very medieval and quaint. The views from here is spectacular.
Great little town just a short bus ride from Monaco. The Le Trophée des Alpes is just a short walk from the town center and is a great take. The views of Monaco from this town are spectacular.
Just lovely to wander around - like a film set, but it's for real, and I liked the pedestrian friendly setting -- no cars
This village had wonderful Provençal architecture, winding lanes and alleys and a great atmosphere. The centre of the village had a church; which can be visited
No tourists, quiet streets dating back to late roman times and above it all the huge monument also worth visiting.
We walked through the old village of La Turbie - it was an absolutely charming residential area. There were no shops, and we did not see another tourist.
Mainly there is one attraction in the La Turbie - the one of the two existing Roman Trophee outside of current Italian borders - Via Aurelia part! Overall the town is lovely and if you not interestied in tourist crowded Eze next to and would like to have a great view on the State of Monaco - La Turbie is deffenetly worth visiting - you need to park auto outside - close to pannoramic view of the bay of monaco and account of ca 2 hours for the town with some stops and anothr 1,5 hours for the Trophee if you want to spend 7 euro to go inside.
