Wonderful view; on a reasonably clear day you can see Blighty, and of course the car ferries plying their way, looking like toy boats below you. Once there was a lot of fresh air there, and we found we could lean forward at an angle of 45 degrees, and still be supported by the wind that was blowing.

We drove from Calais to Sangatte and past the village. On the hill we've spottet the Brasserie Panoramique Le Thome. Amazing views from there. We had a fish soup which was freshly cooked. Wow so delicious and a big pot of soup.

The information center "La maison des deux caps" (sign posts everywhere) gives you a lot of useful information to visit this wonderful region. Nature and history and nice restaurants. Most places are closed in november but there is still enough to see and do.

This was the second time we visited. The weather was cloudy and visibility not the greatest. All the same, we were able to see the white cliffs across the channel. Many war artifacts on the cape, and a great view of the French countryside. Also a good place for hiking (both easy and more strenuous).

Great part of the coast, easy to park, either park in the lower car park and enjoy the lovely beach or take the footpath up the Cap, or drive up and enjoy the wonderful views.

well preserved site with WW1 MEMORIAL AND WW2 artefacts. View of Dover on clear day. . Walking from easy to hard. Plenty of parking

Very interesting spot. Nice to stop and stretch your legs. We visited when there was a sea mist but on a clear day the view would be wonderful.

There was a lot of fog and it was very cold the day we visited so we didn't get to see a lot, still a great view, don't forget to also take a look at the cliffs from the beach. Be warned: it was not an easy road with the car because of all the slopes and curves.

This entire area is stunning. Gorgeous views, a lot of walking paths, full of history. It's a nice spot to have a hike. Make sure you visit the beach just farther down as well, stunning views and during low tide, endless walks.

We have just returned from a family holiday with my daughter and son in law. We stayed in a beautiful eco friendly cottage called Cap Blanc Gris in a little place called cap gris nez just a few hundred yards from the beach. The cottage was very well equip with all the home comforts. On a clear day you can see the English coast. We visited lots of places and the war cemeteries' were very sad. We enjoyed the museum at dunkerke it was very informative and after a long day sightseeing it was nice to stroll along the beach. We booked this cottage with Cottages 4u and I would recommend it.Tate Family.

We have visited Cap Blanc Nez a number of times and always enjoy a stroll with the invigorating breeze and the sea air as we watch the shipping and the ferries. There are a number of interesting remnants of the German occupation and the Atlantic Wall.

On a clear day you can see the coast of England! The view from the cliffs is just amazing - the sea and the countryside are gorgeous. You can drive there or take a bus from Calais that takes you on a scenic route along the coast. You can simply stay to admire the view, learn about history (the site was used by German officers in WWII) or go for a walk or even hiking.

If you're lucky with the weather the view is amazing, you can look all the way to the White Cliffs of Dover on the other side of the English Channel.Take your binoculars with you, for there're several birds to spot, even some see-mammals if you're really lucky !Definitely worth your time.

This location, high on the cliffs of the Cap Blanc Nez is fabulous. Not only are the views of the surrounding countryside and the English Channel, including the White cliffs of Dover on a good day, amazing; but so to is the history encapsulated here From the stories of the Dover Patrol in WWI, through to the fortification of the area as part of the Atlantic Wall in WWII. If you do visit bring a wind proof jacket, it can be a little bit bracing!!!

The views were were just breath-taking. The plage is like 200 m way from the camp side. Still the camping is very expensive the owner seems to be very "saving" - everything is extra paid. One night for tent is 17 €. There is no toilett paper in the bathroom and you need to pay for shower which lasts not even 5 minutes. There is no hot water and you need to pay extra if you want yo charge the battery in your phone. So the place is amazing but I wouldn't recommend the campside.
