Old and interesting it's good to visit it.it's near a river there is a great view and good place to take photos

Must visit place in the heart of Tbilisi. Will take just 5 minutes of driving from down town.Walking distance from “Motherland” monumentum

For the general tourist, this is valuable for its antiquity and beauty. For anyone with any spiritual interest, this is a vastly significant church with a long history of worship and worth visiting for that reason alone.

Works in progress but worth the visit. Nice, dark and attractive church, and as said a nice place to start the city visit.

We stpopped here nearly at the end of our tour of Georgia, as a good sport for a view of Tblisi and some reminders of history.

You should visit this place and look from this place to old city. Wonderful and nice view tonight!!!

Small Church located up in the hill. The location is very good to take some photos. After we saw the Church, we went to he back and chilled there watching old Tbilisi and the River down, Nice place. Do visit this place since you are in Old Tbilisi.

This Cathedral while not the greatest in the world is noticeable from all angles of the area. At night the cathedral and statue co located are both well lit and provide for very appealing photography. This is one of the best photos of all Tbilisi in my mind. I very much recommend this location with the river running along side. You will most likely visit here in the day and once again in the evening.

I love where it stands, how sacred it is especially when you visit inside the Cathedral. It is along the Mtkvari (Kura) River and there's this amazing monument. Please ensure that when you visit the Cathedral, bring your shawl to use for covering your head and not wear short skirt as sign of respect.

Meteki Cathedral is a very nice example of a Georgian cathedral. It is located on the rim of the river. At night it is illuminated and a great sight from the south side.

After a long bus ride out in the countryside we arrived at this landmark cathedral, together with a number of religious visitors. Atmosphere was mesmerizing!

Even though the church was under reconstruction at the time I visited it, one could see how nice it is. Metekhi Cathedral is situated in, in my opinion, the most beautiful spot in Tbilisi and according to what our guide told us the history of the very spot where the church was built is very impressive. So, visit it and see it for yourself. It's worth visiting.

We were there on Saturday & were impressed by quantity of wedding couples. Geopgians, americans. On cars & hourses. Very nice & estonishing!The whole place provides great impression & time spent there was a pleasant part of the day!

Meteskhi Cathedral is famous in the Tbilisi and have good views to Old Tbilisi and Meidani. This place good for old Tbilisi daily walk tour.

As we were told it is one of oldest church in the area. It was under renovation and we were not permitted to go inside.It is located in a very nice place of the city and overlooks the nice river of Tbilisi.
