Combined ticket gets you in to Palazzo Reale, Armeria Reale, Galeria Sabauda and Archeological Museum - all for 12euro. Check the opening times when you buying tickets. Outside was not very stunning, however inside..well...proper royalty :)

The home of Savoy royalty once lived here; now it is one of a set of museums. Unfortunately it's seen better days. The front is a little dirty, with rickety window shutters. The plaza by the entrance was undergoing loud construction when I was there, so it wasn't a pleasant place to be.But the inside...well, imagine you take a large room, embroider it with gold, dip the whole room in more gold, and add some priceless artwork. Then chip away some gold with your fingernails, take the curtains off the windows, and add a watcher in every room to make sure nothing gets nicked (i.e. sit around awkwardly or read and get paid for it). That's it.The garden could be lovely but is overgrown and not accessible.

This is the Italian equivalent to Buck House but much more elaborate! What made it exceptional was the room attendants who were very knowledgable and willing to talk and tell you all about what you were looking at and inform about the changing lifestyles at various periods of the buildings history. Well worth a visit.

It is impressive on the outside. The interiors are very grand. My favorite rooms were the ballroom ( done in Neoclassical style with an overhead balcony for the orchestra), the dining room ( done in Neo Baroque style ) and the Chinese room. The floors are mostly ornate parquet wooden floors. The Royal kitchen and private royal rooms were closed, to my disappointment.

If you are in Turin and have time to visit its attractions this place is a good option. Even though it is not as imposing as other royal palaces you can find around the world, it is still interesting and worthy for the low price of the ticket.

I am used to visit castel and palace. Most often visits are expensive and rooms are beautiful but quite empty... That is why this palace was a very good surprise: only 6€ and the rooms are full of furnitures of this period. The decoration is very rich and in great condition.I would say it is a must see in Turin.

One of the finest "small" royal palaces visited. Excellently maintained and very intimate. One can actually imagine how they lived by touring the palace. Not overly expensive either.

Yes there are some faults with this attraction. The price at $15 is not cheap, the signage is not always the best, the entrance is convoluted or confusing because you are allowed to go so far and then you are told you need to back downstairs and around the corner to buy tickets. Once you get past the hurdles it is a beautiful display of what life was like during the Savoys reign of Italy. The kitchen and some of the apartments were under renovation to be ready for the spring and summer season, but the rooms that were available were fantastic especially the armory of historical weaponry. You can spend an hour just in this room and not see all of it. Overall what could be viewed was restored and displayed as good as any other palace in Europe and better than most. The displays were a (5) but the ticket situation and the closed displays at no reduced price reduced the rating to average. This attraction is not open on Mondays.

I'm a keen gardener, so I was especially to interested in visiting the garden, the part thats restored is beautiful , even though its December so most of the plants and garden are put to bed, it was a lovely place to get out into the fresh air and apperciate the basic design of the garden. Scale of the restoration is impressive. Palace is vast, cafe was a bit disappointing but overall worth a visit.

Current cost to tour this palace is 12 Euros. They provide a reasonable number of explanatory sign boards in a variety of languages. However, the royal apartments, the kitchens and the gardens were unavailable without explanation.

We weren't sure if this exhibit was worth going into because there were no lines or cue to get into it; but to our surprise, it was well worth the price of admission. Fascinating presentation of the history of the Royal Palace of Turin. Each room had a very interesting write-up on it's history - available in a variety of languages including English. The best part of the exhibit was the Royal Armory. We had never seen such a fine display of armor , complete with fully armored men on actual horses. The Armory was in an enormous, long-corridor beautiful room. It appeared that the town may be doing a lot of restoration to the Palace and to the grounds around it as there was a lot of activity going on outside, and a few of the areas inside were not available for viewing while we were there - but there was still a lot of beautiful things to see. Well worth the price of admission

The palace is amazing in the displayed wealth and grandeur. The art collection and armory were impressive as well.
