The whole place is a little run-down and we had hoped for more. The display was smaller than we had expected, but nevertheless very interesting and the staff were very friendly and helpful. We could however NOT recommend the food - stay well away from it - there is good food elsewhere in Königswinter.

This is now one of my favorite Sealife Aquariums, and I've made a hobby of visiting as many as possible. This one throws jurassic sealife into the mix, the usual pirate decor is more elaborate, and to go with the nearby Dragon's Rock castle, ruins, and lore, there's a dragon skeleton and treasure cave. Beautifully crafted!
