Kania is a paradise beach for all ages.Crystal clear waters, clean beach ,excellent fresh home made cooking with a very good and pleasant atmoshere.

Have visited Halki 3 times this year but didn't get to this beach until the third visit.....what a find, it's small, the food is really good...Poppy is a great cook and if you buy lunch the sunbeds are free!It's a bit of a treck to get there but well worth it, I prefer going by bus, just because I'm lazy, hubby preferred to walk. The swimming is also good from this beach, will use Kania when I go next year when I fancy a beach day.

Just spent 2 weeks on Halki and went to this beach 10 out of the 14 days. It's a pretty challenging 30 minute walk from town but so worth it. There is a minibus but we preferred to walk to justify the amazing lunch we would always have there!The beach itself is beautiful and unspoilt- as Greece should be.The team at Kania beach are so friendly - thank you to Poppy, Dimitris, Rarifaya and Panacotis - we have made some great new friends.Poppy's cooking is just amazing! Particularly her Soutzoukakia!Thank you all for making our holiday, and my birthday in particular so memorable.

Beautiful beech, fantastic service and wonderful food. The new kitchen is a real asset with the most fabulous food.

Halki is a dry and unspoild island north of Rhodos.It,s capital is very scenic, a smaller less visited version of Symi harbour with colorfull restored historic houses and churches.Dodecanisos express make the boat trip in about 1 to 1,5 hour for 10-20 euro one way.

Poppy cooks fresh and delicious food from a very small kitchen and the tables are set out either under a tree about strides from the waters edge or a little further back under a canopy. Needless to say the view is stunning and the food delicious. Many thanks to Anna who served us with cold beers direct to our sunbeds.

The landscape viewed from Horio is harsh and dry vibrant only by the shimmer of heat,the outlines of long abandoned fields still fairly visible

On every holiday don t you wish to find a great view a lovely beach somewhere great to eat but relativily unspoilt? Yeah don t we all!! But at Kania Beach you can do all three. First visited this beach 12 yrs ago there was nothing a pebberly shoreline and a olive grove behind, The beach area measured about 40ft by 3ft!! This year we went back and got a lovely suprise the olive trees have mostly been buldozed back and in their place is a terrace with free sunbeds and umberallas. That was a bonus!! But wait also now there is now a cantina serving some great home type cooking we could nt belive it! At 1 00pm the sunbeds were empty and everbody goes up for lunch!! Everybody chats and when we were there the company was great after dinner everybody heads back to the sunbeds! Standard of cooking was very good and the two staff brill nothing was too much. I love squid and eat it alot at Kania I possibly had the best squid ever ever!! On the down side this place is going to expand and lose the quaintness it now has but people need to make a living its a shame but reality.We were lucky to find this place at its best hopefully next time we visit it won t have changed that much? Walk from the village center bout 40 mins worth it for the views. To Poppi and Co thanks for making our holiday so enjoyable.

Excellent food from the little cantina. Sunbeds and umbrellas, tables and chairs, swimming, on the mini bus route or about 45 minute walk (I'm told!). The bus gets there around 10.30 and picks you up at 4.30 so you get a good day on the beach. Garifalia, Popi and the team are friendly and welcoming and nothing is too much trouble.

Peaceful setting. Lots of free sunbeds.Use the minibus if you wish but the walk is also very pleasant and not too hilly.

Поездка на о.Халки внесёт разнообразие в ваш отдых на Родосе.Приятная часовая прогулка на корабле-и вы в чудесном месте, в изумительных по красоте водах Эгейского моря. Яркие ухоженные домики в колониальном стиле(и ничего,что жителей осталось всего-то 150-300 ч.),рыбаки,церковь и,конечно, отличный пляж. Со всем нужным оборудованием. Долгая отмель,прозрачная голубая вода,тишина и покой.Полная безмятежность...А после пляжа можно отправиться в таверну и поесть свежей рыбы и креветок, а также накормить многочисленных местных кошек.Чего вам и желаю.

Βρεθήκαμε σε αυτήν την όμορφη παραλία και εντυπωσιάστηκαμε απο την ομορφιά της απο το πόσο καθαρή ήταν και πόσο φιλόξενα και με επαγγελματισμό τα παιδιά που έχουν την καντίνα-καφέ.Σίγουρα θα ξανά έρθουμε πάλι και πάλι γιατί μας δεχτήκατε σαν φίλους.Μυρίζει Ελλάδα εκεί και μπράβο σας.

Απίστευτα καθαρά νερά, άψογη εξυπηρέτηση, καταπληκτικό φαγητό! Δεν θα μπορούσα να ζητήσω τίποτα άλλο .... Ανυπομονώ για την επόμενη φορά που σίγουρα θα δεν θα είναι για μια μέρα!

Un peu de marche pour s'y rendre mais cela en vaut le détour ! La vue est superbe, la plage est propre et calme
