silberkarklamm

Goin through the Klamm (entry fee to be paid) is interesting, yet touristy. Many people take the simple hike from the parking lot. Much more interesting is to hike the Hohenweg, but do not do this in slippery/wet weather. Otherwise, if you are accustomed to hiking it is not difficult. But steep at times. But much more interesting path to take. Would advise to go up with the Hohenweg, and go down using the standard path through the the klamm.

Short walk up prepared wooden steps for a few Euros to a mountain alm an hour further. OK but not in same league asWilde Wasser.

Very nice tour, easy done by my 3 kids 8-9 years old. Worth to taste carrot cake at Silberkark Hütte. With kids, choose the normal track after the spring (left track), and take the other path on the way back. Take your hiking shoes, honestly it can be done in sport shoes, but not recommended, slows you down a bit. We taste the water from the spring, and we still alive :-)

We took the long way up to the hut, which was a really nice and vigorous hike (as long as it wasn't raining and slippery), had lunch at the hut at the top, and then walked down along the stream/waterfalls, etc. Going down is almost all on wooden walkways/stairs, etc. and is quite dramatic, but not hard. I would not do this hike/walk in the rain, as the wooden walkway would be slippery.

I did this walk in September last year with my husband and would highly recommend it. We started out in the village and followed the well signposted signs to the Silberkarklamm. We entered a forest that was peaceful, full of colour and cool, this led us past a small inn and then to the start of the Silberkarklamm walk. We had a lovely surprise at the start of the walk there was a aqua green waterfall nearby the colour was spectacular and very tempting to have a paddle in.We paid a small fee to enter the Silberkarklamm walk and slowly made our way up the wooden steps, across a bridge and followed the waterfall up the mountain. When we reached almost to the top we called into the Silberkarnhutte and sat in the garden waiting for a someone to take our order but sadly no one came out. We therefore decided to climb back down the steps back to where we started and called into the Inn that we saw prior to entering the Silberkarklamm walk. We had a well earned drink and snack after are walk. We loved this walk and the views were breath taking. (If you like horse riding - I do, there is a stables attached to the Inn and you could go out for a hack at a reasonable price).

We love visiting the klamm when in the area on holiday. Walking the klamm is better in good weather as yiu don't get so wet!

Wenn man die Ursprünglichkeit mag, sollte man die Klamm unbedingt besuchen. Sie ist zwar nicht besonders lang, aber oben angekommen, gibt es noch einige Möglichkeiten um weiter zu wandern.

Nu elsker jeg naturoplevelser og især noget med vand/vandfald.Her ved Silberkarklamm har jeg været flere gange og bliver aldrig træt af det.En fin gåtur, som de fleste let kan klare - til gengæld får man en utrolig skøn naturoplevelse.

Diese Klamm war unsere erste.Von daher, sicher eiwas besonderes.Leider hatten wir beim Aufstieg schlechtes Wetter, man musste aufpassen, denn die Holzstege waren rutschig und glitschig.Wir hatten aber auch das Glück, mehrere Alpensalamander zu sehen, die den Regen offensichtlich mochten.Überhaupt sollte man hier extrem neugierig und umsichtig sein.Ich habe Pflanzen z. B. die giftige Tollkirsche gesehen, ebenso seltene Lilien und Orchideen.Bei einem Abstecher in der Hütte, die rappelvoll war, wärmten wir uns auf.Sehr netter Hüttenwirt dort, der selbstgemachte Joghurt eine Leckerei.Den Abstieg über den Höhenweg konnten wir dann bei trockenem Wetter wagen.Eine tolle Wanderung für alle Familienmitglieder.

Auf dem Weg zur Silberkarhütte die Klamm Besucht. Hatte sie mir größer Vorgestellt. Über Holztreppen ging es durch die Klamm. Nach der Klamm die Silberkarhütte besucht.

empfehlenswert besonders im sommer immer wieder ein genussoben gibt es eine hütte zu ausrasten.............................................................................

Eine sher schöne Klamm, leicht zu gehen mit denn kleinen Brücken und Stegen ein sehr schönes Erlebnis für Jung und Alt.

Die Klamm ist sehr gut erschlossen, das Wasser kristalklar und die Silberkarhütte am Ende (plus ein paar Gehminuten) der Klamm bietet einen schönen Ausblick.Festes Schuhwerk ist auf jeden Fall zu empfehlen!
