We are usually the first one and the last ones on the slope, therefor skiing here for us more then two days will get boring, therefor great just for the weekend, very convinient with most of the hotels right on the slope, a variety of black, red and blue. They still use a few anchor lifts here but it's worth the discomfort for us. Few great bars for lunch&drinks&music ex. wulfenia hotel bar and Garnitzenalm on the other side. The road to arrive isn't the most comfortable, a lot of sharp blind curves, best to drive at night to see upcoming car lights or driving in a que(not being the one in front)
We spent here 1 wonderfull week on ski slopes - perfect for family with children:-)You can find here mostly red slopes, but ski area is really huge:-)Definitelly I will come back again
Good parking, well prepared slopes, free ski depot, beginners area for your children and decent size. It all makes Nassdeld a nice place to ski. Restaurants offer regional food which of course isn't brilliant but is really ok.Weaker points:- sometimes flat parts are too long- there are some zones where it would be good to have a small restaurant / place to sit and have a drink but there's nothing
First time in this resort and was very impressed. An efficient lift system with few long lines at school half term. Double T bar to be replace with a four man chair 2015/2016. Often longer line to the park area.
Great skiing area; lots of nice slopes!Quite high up in the mountains leading to being quite safe on snow but also susceptible to bad weather conditions.
I would like to congrats Nassfeld for such a good skiing day yesterday. The runs were perfect prepaired, a lot of snow and beautiful weather. This were for sure the best skiing this year!
A few slopes connected with a net of lifts. Lots of tracks for everybody, a few bars and restaurants. Kids born in 2000 and later pay half adult price for ski passes. Good snow conditions even if spring rules in the valleys. Enjoy!
I found plenty of snow on the mountain while many other resorts are still practicing their snow dance. The vast majority of runs are red making the mountain more ideal for intermediate and above skiers; not very many options for beginners only one long blue run. The lift system is good but the lack of changing areas/lockers is a bit annoying.
If you like skiing in the sun, try Nassfeld. Austrian snow, Italian sun. Last year we had 4 m of snow, this year little less, but the guys in Nassfeld know how to make a piste, even with technical snow. The skiing is amazing, the area large enough (approx. 100 km pistes) and the food is excellent. In addition, there is free WiFi. It is not the easiest of ski areas to reach with public transport (e.g. plane), but the roads are excellent. Highly recommended.
Very good resort. Big choice of ski slopes. And good ski bars and restaurants with very nice staff. Nice mountain view during sunny days
More than 100km of tracks with 40 ski lifts (incl. chairs and gondola) all around a massive valley centre. 150 snow cannons in case there isn't enough natural snow, but the artificial snow gets really icy and grainy.... Still a great ski area overall.
Perfectly prepared slopes, great connected resort, fairly priced cafes and restaurant. Well organized parking facilities. Several Wi-Fi points over the resort.
I have been skiing here consistently for the last ten years and absolutely love it! Loads and loads of great runs with beautiful views. The earlier the better to avoid the hordes or ski during lunchtime when everyone is refueling in the restaurants.
Efficient once you get up high. Great groomers. Nice coffee shop in town, on the way down.Wonderful mountain roads to travel to Italy.
Fresh powder snow, long slopes, but a bit overcrowded! On the top of the elevators the view is amazing, specially if sun shines and there's no snowing. We were lucky :) Plus staying in Hotel Wulfenia made our skiing-trip amazing and relaxing with its great service.
