This is a round trip hike along the Mendling river about 2 km each direction. The route is well organized, safe and not difficult for all ages. There are enough places to rest during the walk. You walk in the beautiful forest near the water and waterfalls - amazing nature!I would recommend to start the route from the "end" in Großegg - there is a nice restaurant you can visit after (or before) the hike. Parking is also available. If you start from the "beginning" - you'll need to walk some stairs from the parking to the hike start point.Their website: http://www.mendlingtal.at/

Krásná procházka kolem vody. Doporučuji v pěkém počasí a v době, kdy ukazují, jak se splavovaly klády dřeva.

Das Mendlingtal ist wunderschön. Die Landschaft ein Traum. Es gibt auch immer wieder Holzdrift - Vorführungen, die sehr schön sind zum anschauen.

Durch die NÖ-Card wurden wir auf das Mendlingtal aufmerksam. Es ist wahrlich ein Erlebnis und wir können es auf jeden Fall nur weiterempfehlen.Die Anlage wurde sehr schön errichtet, auch kinderfreundlich. Allerdings ist es für Kinderwägen nicht geeignet. Der Themenwanderweg mit ca. 3km Weglänge ist mit informativen Schautafeln versehen.Die Landschaft ist ein Traum. Ab und zu gibt es auch Holztrift-Vorführungen.
