佩奇的早期基督教陵墓

The cemetery has only one tomb, so it's cool but not worthy the entrance fee... It could be cheaper or be one ticket for all the burial area

This was incredible! The condition and presentation of these tombs from the 300s A.D. were amazing and made for a fantastic attraction.

Sopinae cemetry is located right down the Cathedral. You have to look carefully to find it in a park. Outside you will see Roman ruins and stairs are leading to the underworld. If you want to make pcs you have to pay around 1 EUR.

This is the other part of the ancient cemeteries that tourists can visit. If I had to choose between this and the Cella Septichora I'd choose this. It's much smaller, so there's less walking and less sense of claustrophobia, and the interest is more concentrated. The entrance isn't easy to see from the road above. Look for the remains of an early church in a cleared area in the grassy slope below you. The mausoleum is under the church.

Well worth a visit. The museum attractively show cases the elaborate and unique ancient underground burial spaces. Before you enter the underground walk, check out the layout model in a display in the lobby area. The layout underground is confusing and hard to understand without this overview. More explanation in English along the connecting passageways and at the chambers would be helpful. The finding of a beautiful open work bronze disc Chi-Rho or Christogram in excavations conducted in 2000 is very significant. Impressions of the disc are available, but the actual bronze itself must have been relocated to another museum. If you appreciate ancient Roman artifacts and archaeology, you will find the visit rewarding.

Dieser unterirdisch gelegene frühchristliche Friedhof, der sich vom Domplatz bis weit unter das Zentrum von Becs zieht, ist ein unbedingtes "Muss" für Pecs Besucher. Der Eingang befindet sich auf dem oberen Teil des Szent-Istvan-Platzes, südlich vom Dom, eher unscheinbar. In geschlossenem Zustand (z.B. Montags) wirkt der Eingang zuder unterirdischen Anlage wie ein geschlossenes GaragentorDaneben ein große Glassverkleidung mit Wasservorhang. Hinter dem Eingang verbirgt sich ein großzügiger Eingangsbereich und ein noch im Bau befindliches Forum mit Glasdach.Der Besuch lohnt sich wg. der außerordentlich gut zugänglich gemachten, mehrgeschossigen Grabkammer, und Katakomben mit Bestattungssymbolen. Die Ausleuchtung ist dezent und geschmackvoll.Die Präsentation hat bei uns einen nachhaltigen Eindruck hinterlassen. Andere Teile der weitläufigen Grabfunde, z.B. unter der Apáca ut können nur mit Vorausanmeldung besichtigt werden.

Vale la pena visitarlo. Accessibile anche in sedia a rotelle. Molto ben curato lo scavo e l'esposizione. Attenzione: vi sono più siti del cimitero, non tutti collegati. Conviene fare biglietto unico, inclusivo anche della cattedrale.Non scordate la parte sita davanti alla cattedrale, sotto le scale.

Sito carino e ben tenuto, con buoni pannelli illustrativi (inoltre in biglietteria viene consegnata anche una brochure dettagliata in italiano)... però sarà che noi siamo abituati alla grandezza di certe nostre necropoli o siti paleocristiani che non mi ha colpito particolarmente

Den Friedhof von Sopianae kann man in der bewohnten Innenstadt finden, obwohl diese in der römischen Zeit eher am Rande der Stadt untergebracht waren. Zahlreiche christliche Symbole wie Taube, Krug, Kelch und das Christusmonogramm sind in gut erhaltener Form in den Wandmalereien zu sehen. Die Bergundsarbeiten laufen sogar noch im XX. Jahrhundert. Interessanterweise hat man noch im Jahre 2000 ein Christusmonogramm gefunden, das als Lampenanhänger genutzt wurde. Eine einmalige Gedenkstätte, die man bei einem Aufenthalt in Pecs nicht versäumen sollte. Eintritt mit oder ohne Führung, auch Kombikarten im Besucherzentrum Cella Septichora.
