The view is interesting. It happens that the gazebo area is small, very close to the highway, and no protection in case of rain and / or snow.

I think we are never going to forget these landscapes. Awesome places, please do not hesitate to go there!

Gorgeous lakes and landscapes, but far from the city (50-60km). We chose to rent a car for one day (wich was great because later we drove to the glacier) for AR$900 and drove to both lakes, they are accessible by road. In the way there are also lookouts (paseo Garibaldi and others) with places for picnic.

They are gorgeous lakes and the hikes around them are incredible. Hiking down from the Mirador to the Lago Escondido is a fun easy hike. Go on a day with good visibility.

A gorgeous place to be astonished by the beauty of Tierra Del Fuego! Come prepared for the wind, take some time to absorb everything while you listen to the sounds of nature. If you can, come very early, to have the place just for yourself!

Totally worth the visit. We had an amazing day in the lakes, and we had the luck to get an sunny day after 4 days of snow. I totally recommended!

Me and my boyfriend went on a 4x4 tour with the company Tierras and was amazing. We covered the lakes + had a great barbecue after a short trekking of 15 minutes in a cabin in the middle of the forest. Was really nice and one of the best tours we did so far.

Probably one of the most beautiful trips I did in Ushuaia. Lago Escondido can be seen from the road and after there's a short trail until lake edge. Lago Fagnano there's a board to walk and a view that can calm your mind

The absolute best! We fell into this tour due to a scheduling conflict. Typically we don't do off-road, 4-wheel drive tours, but Nicolas/Canal Tours were absolutely the best. We were in a beat-up old Land Rover driving through water that came up through the floorboards, on dirt trails that were practically impassable... but Nicolas got us through with no problem. Tons of fun. He is extremely knowledgeable about flora/fauna of Ushuaia. English is excellent. Can't speak highly enough about him and the Canal tours!

... we found the trip useless. but is you snjoy fishing (huge trouts) you should definitely spend a day on the lake shore! Don't forget to acquire a fishing permit!

Fagnano lake looks like the sea for its dimension and we rented a car to go around and see all the area. We stopped at Marina restaurant and the food was very good, but I suggest to go there early for lunch because tourist group come here too and then you have to wait.

Was there when the wind was howling, hard to imagine a lake with waves as big as the ocean can produce, quite spectacular!

If you still have time after visiting the Parque National Tierra del Fuego, this is a nice excursion from Ushuaia.We did it with our car on the road N3, a perfectly paved road suitable for all vehicles, it is about 250Km return and takes about half day.The road N3 takes you over a mountain pass where you have the view of the lake Escondido and then lake Fagnano, that is about half way to lake Fagnano and Tolhuin. In Tolhuin there is a fabulous bakery where you can satisfy yourself with savoury and sweet products, all excellent.

when driving through out this region, every turn you make deserves a photo. Great lanscape indeed. I believe the mountains must come along in the same frame, so it's not only a nice few.
