My wife, nine year old son and I went to th Eco Parque without great expectations but dispute rather poor weather we actually had a blast. Extremely clean and well maintained with some fun rides and plenty to do meant that we were entertained for a full day. This is not a water park to compare with better known destinations but all in all good value for money.
We are note really fans of entertainment parks but this one is really good. April is not high season but this is holy week and the amount of visitors is perfect, you never have to wait more than 2 minutes, the staff is great, facilities too. Attra yions are really for all ages meaning my 3 year old had the time of her life and my 6 year old the same in different attractions. We did not get to the wildest because I am 6 month pregnant but they looked great. Do try this park if you are nearby
A wonderful place for children and children-at-heart. My kids enjoyed it as much as my parents! Excellent facilities for all ages and discounts for retired people :)
There are a few slightly negative reviews on here, please don't take any notice of them! My girlfriend and I had an awesome time here. The entry price is 95 Reais (about £30) which we thought was great value for a full day of fun. The entry fee gives you access to all of the attractions except the Quad biking that is 25 Reais. We found the queue times to be pretty good, the longest wait was for the zip line but it was well worth it. Some of the slides had little or no queues at times It is possible to get a ticket for 60 Reais if you buy them onsite but that ticket cannot be used on the day of purchase. The restaurant was very reasonable and the ice cream smoothies are amazing. None of the vendors take cash, you have to load money onto a card that costs 1 Reais from one of the cashier booths, we found this tricky due to our lack of Portugese, they ask you for your name and date of birth. There is a great variety of attractions and there is something for everyone, don't miss it!
This is a large water park 5 minutes walk from the centre of Arraial D'Ajuda. Attractions inside the park include water slides, lazy river, wave pool, zip wire, quad bikes and places to eat. Many of the attractions cost extra on top of the hefty entrance fee.Everything there has a long queue, expect to wait half an hour for a 20 second ride on a water slide and queues for the zip wires and food.As an overview, the water slides, lazy river and wave pool were great fun but the park was too busy and queuing for everything became tedious. At R$85, I don't think it is worth the entrance fee.
kids love to paly around in all kinds of pools, sliding rides, and water showers, but adults may get bored after a couple of hours. there is a line sometimes to get the ticket and enter the place, so be sure you get your tickets in advance at the hotel so you minimize the waiting.
The place is naturally wonderful. With a native forest and beautiful beach. However, the attractions are not in its best days. Someones are needing a kind of repair bigger than a new painting.Everything that is sold there, including the entrance fee is expensive and I don't believe that it's fair.To sum, if you don't know the park and get some good price (in your opinion), I think you will like. If you already know the place, one time is more than enough.
The only good thing about the place is the fact it provides so much employment to locals. It's good for the local economy: a deserted beach, however idyllic, does not create many jobs. This monstrosity, on the other hand, must employ a good 200+ in an extremely efficient effort to liberate its patrons of oodles of cash through a number of clever wheezes. Good for them. The irony of 2500+ people having paid BRL85 ea. to be living it up here for a day, metres from one of the most beautiful beaches in the world, all ignoring said free beach in favour of plastic manufactured aqua-tainment, queuing for hours for split-second rides to a soul-twisting soundtrack of vanilla-brasil-pop, appears to be entirely lost on all the visitors, except for those few to be found sat in the shade of the almond trees gazing wistfully through the wire fence out to sea...The kids, they loved it. Sometimes you just have to bury your principles, swallow your pride, shut your eyes and hit the water slides...
We made friends with this other family and hung out at the beach while the kids roamed the park stopping by every hour for head count. Great place to go with the family!
Not value for money, Very expensive to get in and certainly not worth it.
Great for kids and adults, the fun never stops. Not cheap.
It's free for guests from Arraial D'Ajuda Eco Resort, otherwise it will cost you 70 reais (US$ 44,00). Nice location and beautifully decorated, between part of the preserved atlantic forest and the beach. There are a wave pool, artificial river, water slides, both for children and adults. There's a restaurant (not expensive) and a lot of junk-food stations. It would only be better if the water was a little warmer. With the tropical wind at the local winter, it's hard to get into the cold water of the pools. By the way, take your towels from the hotel or you'll have to rent there.
