Forget touring Jeri in a buggy that is just going to contaminate one of the most beautiful beaches in Brasil, instead choose an option that is more interactive and ecofriendly. The horses were in really in good shape they were not afraid of a strong gallup. The route was great passing over dunes and through rivers before returning on the beach. Highly recommendable!
Marcos was a wonderful guide. It was just the two of us, and we went just for one hour ('cause it gets HOT during the day!) I've been on a horse about 15 times in my life, so Marcos thought it was time for me to learn to gallop. Yipee! He was a great teacher. I don't know which is better, being right on the beach, or on the edge of a dune!
i went to ride horses for my first time ...amazing experience!! The horses are loved and the family is so kool (he is brazilian ,she is american with 2 beautiful young and nice daughters!)I will tell all my italian friends to go there and stay at their pousada vila bela vista!Federico
I had such a grate time, the sunset was amazing and the guide, very nice. Just have the right closes for that and must wear shoes.
I stayed 1 week in Jeri and had 5 amazing ride with Jeri Stables. They have really nice horses, wonderful guide and beautiful landscape. Ride can be in the dune or on the beach. Level is adjusted for each rider. The ride can be 1h to 1 day depending on what you want. They are really lfexible. My favorite ride was on one of the biggest dune at sunset. the view is amazing.
We were in Jeri in december '11 and stayed at Villa Bela Vista. There are great horses at the stable and the trips are very good. Definitely recommended!!
Best cared for horses in Jeri. They have horses that suit everyone. Really friendly staff. Beautiful location. We did the moonlight ride and it was lots of fun & really gorgeous. Also did some rides in the dunes and a gallop on the beach - highly recommend this!
the crew is very nice, they speak English and Spanish. The horses are well fed and the experience is amazing
José was our guide and we chose the ride towards Pedra Furada. The horses are very well cared for, beautiful and strong animals. José was very patient and attentive to the group which was very small (just me and my husband and a couple from Italy). Remember to wear pants for the ride. I hadn't ridden in years, and completely forgot. Thankfully the Stables were able to lend me some protection in leather.
Chico was fabulous with us! Although we had little experience, he was very attentive with us and gave us an unforgettable tour of the area.
I had a wonderful ride through the dunes and over the beach. Just me and the very nice giude.
Great horses and trail. The sunset was beautiful during the ride.
Nice, professional and beaultiful horses, grate sunset and perfect mood, a thing you can't miss!
...in Jericoacoara is an unforgettable experience. You can't miss this one and don't forget to bring your camera. This is one of the most enjoyable ways to explore the dunes. When you start, you weave around the base of the dunes, thru beautiful tall palm trees and fresh water lakes and streams. Once you and your horse climb to the top of the dunes you get some of the prettiest panoramic views of the ocean, Jeri, the rolling dunes and Jeri's famous sunset! The pictures speak for themselves. There are horses for all levels of experience so no need to be nervous. The staff takes great care of their guests. Some suggestions...this is horseback ridding so wear proper clothes and shoes so you will be comfortable, sunscreen and maybe some bug spray depending on the time of year. Enjoy the views, get to know the people (they are amazing!), and take in the experience.
We went out on my wife's birthday for the most amazing ride. Jose took great care of our 2yr old daughter who was unexpectedly calm throughout (to the point of sleeping for a good 20 minutes), as she shared the saddle with him. The views were superb, particularly along the crest of one of the dunes and it was just a wonderfully relaxed, enjoyable experience.I would rank this as a must for novices like us, and am sure it would be even more rewarding for people who actually know how to ride a horse!
