It´s easy to find nice beaches in Brazil. That said, I rather to spend my time in those not too crowded. And in this one it was very hard to find a spot to place your butt.Never the less, if you're not in a hotel or "pousada" nearby, it'll take literally hours to get to this place -about 2. And you have to pay a fee to get in the city. I think it was 20 bucks.To make it clear, if you don't mind feeling an elbow on your shoulder, a toe on your back, some sand flying straight to your drink, then it's a very nice place to be.

The greatest sand you can imagine! A beautiful view of ocean and nature. The water was clean as was the beach! Love it!

Great to spend the day either it is with your family or friends, or by your own. Beautiful view and good restaurants around. Just sit by the sea and enjoy a sunbath drinking coconut water.

it is a great beach to lay in the sun and have a few drinks. Also is a very good beach to go with your children. The left side of the beach has very calm waters and you can paddle surf there and swim also. The right side of the beach has good waves to surfing and have fun.

Great combination of white sand and clear warm water. Quite a few activities going on there also. It can get a little crowded in summer.

We spent 6 days in Bombinhas, and everyday we went to 4 Ilhas. It has the perfect combination of white sands, crystal clear waters, and nice infrastructure.

Named after the islands you can see from shore, the sea is the most fantastic colour and looks the cleanest i have seen, the sand is fantastic too, only downside is its a little issolated, to others that might be a bonus.

Beautiful little beach with a lot of activity going on, nice waves and beautiful people around. Worth a visit!

Quatro IIhas is an fantastic beach with great surf and is one of half a dozen truly outstanding beaches in the state of Santa Catarina. Bombinhas is only a 15 min walk from QI and should be visited for the beaches, restaurants and boutique shops. Recommend to hire a car and explore the other beaches nearby such as Bombas, Mariscal and Zimbros - in one word "Amazing",

Very calm, a nice place to spend your time with family. Kids will enjoy. If you like to scuba dive, there are some companies in the area that can take you the open waters, although visibility in the are is not that good, sealife is abundant.

We were traveling with Oceania cruise line from Buenos Aires to Rio, and were getting a little tired of some of the stops that seemed to be nothing but small beaches and tourist shops. That was what Porto Belo looked like to me. But I had read somewhere that I really needed to visit this town and beach about 25 minutes away and spend my time there. My husband and I were traveling with another couple so we paid the $30 ($15 apiece) less in reales, to go there, and boy was it worth it. The restaurant is called LAS OLAS in Quatro Ilhas and it overlooks the ocean. The meal for four people cost us less than $10 apiece and is their shrimp specialty. There are 3 courses with two shrimp appetizers prepared different ways, and then the main meal with shrimp, rice beans, and I can't remember what all else. Try the Korean ice cream for dessert. And the beach is to die for. Spend the rest of your day there. The couple who owns the restaurant is wonderful. They did not speak English, but their daughter happened to be their on spring break from college in Vancouver. She was delightful and spent time talking to us, telling us about her family and how her mom loves to cook for the people who visit her restaurant. The town itself, is definitely a more upscale town, where upper middle class Brazilians probably vacation. The cab driver agreed to come back and pick us up at a certain hour and we were glad we did that because the restarant is a little ways out from the town.

nice beach, clean water, exciting waves, tranquil in terms of entertainment, however just go over to the other side of the hill and you`re in Bombinhas were you can find your pick of restaurants, shops and night life.

exelente playa. en todo sentido mucho mejor que la que el tour te suele dejar, por eso mismo volvimos caminando despues de separarnos del grupo.

Praia muito bonita, de visual incrível. Boa para se frequentar com ondas fortes. Contudo, ainda tem pouca estrutura, o que acaba sendo ruim para passar o dia.
