Dive and Green was an excellent choice to dive in Capurgana, Colombia. The instructors are very attentive and thoughtful, plus the underwater reefs and wildlife is incredible! We spotted a beautiful whitespotted eagle ray when we were there! I hear that there great chances of seeing reef sharks as well! If you are in Capurgana and want to dive, Dive and Green is definitely the right place!
Was not expecting to dive in Capurgana, but after talking to a few other travellers decided to try it. The staff was extremely friendly and thoughtful, from the ownker to the mariners. The instructor made us feel very safe ankd the equipments had the best quality. Furthermore, got to see a huge ray, wich i was dreaming of since my first dive, a few years ago. A must go when you're in Capurgana !
We had one day of diving in Capurgana and whilst the conditions weren't great we had a very good experience with the company. Guillermo was our guide for the day, he was extremely informative and energetic and most importantly was very safe, looking out for everybody in the group. The equipment and organisation of the gear on the boat was just as excellent.
Did a couple dives with dive and green while I was in capurgana waiting for the san blas tour to start. The staff were very friendly and helpful when we first enquired about the diving, we managed to get two dives booked in the following day which was great. The equipment was pretty good, experience and helpfulness of the instructors very good, snacks provided throughout the day were simple but done the job as we had lots of fresh fruit. The only let down was the viability, unfortunately this was pretty below average when we dived however this can't be helped. Also the boat you go out on is pretty small so it's a bit of a pain gearing up when you reach your dive spot.Price was very fair so I would definitely use them again if I return
They fully deserve five stars for building confidence in my partner, who was feeling very insecure about diving after a long hiatus. Spanish Guillermo did a refreshment course with her, after which we dove at two different sites. Very patient and helpful. It probably helped that it was low season, but since there were only three people diving that day, they took all their time. In fact, since the other person diving with us had also done a refreshment course, we had two guides with us, for three divers. Very luxurious. :)BCD and other materials were perfectly sufficient. We were given shorty wetsuits, although they were hardly necessary with a water temp of 30 degrees Celsius. We dove at Aguacate - not that spectacular a site, I thought, with not that much wildlife or impressive corals. Our second dive was at La Grieta, a beautiful varied coral garden. Visibility wasn't great at either site, but that might have been due to the season. The price of COP 190.000 was okay for what they offered. The short boat trip included some snacks (fruit, cookies and cold water). Very recommended.
We did two dives here after coming from Panama from the San Blas Islands. The divemaster Guillermo was excellent - we really enjoyed diving with him - a great personality and very professional. The dive sites nearby contained some of the most well preserved coral I had ever seen. Recommend to go with Dive and Green if you are up in Capurgana.
Capurgana is a nice little spot with a easy going atmosphere and surrounded by marine and tropical nature. It s still not too touristic and so is the look and feel of the diving school. It s small and doens t alway have top notch material but it compensates with an excellent service, much local experience, only small diving groups and very chill and friendly instructors. They take time for everything, everything goes with a smile and a personal touch. Perfect combination of diving and the chill feel of the carribeans, loved to do my advanced course here, and did an unforgetable night dive. Diving spots are generally very good, and the temperature of the sea is for a European unbelievable, even at greater depth. Certainly to be recommended.
Came here to get my diving certification and the experience was phenomenal. Our instructor Guillermo was incredibly knowledgeable and made the whole learning experience pleasant and entertaining. Would recommend this place to anyone. The location is somewhat isolated but worth the trip. Would do it again in a heart beat!
We stayed for a week with Eduardo and Marcela whilst we did our Open Water PADI certificate. They couldnt have been more friendly or helpfull, it was like staying with friends. The course was great and very well instructed by them both and great value for money. Although the course is more expensive than those in Taganga, the diving is better quality and the surrounding is much less spoilt. The quality of equipment you are provided with is very good and the course is flexible to your needs or time constraints. Amazing stay, highly recommended.
