I will pass on your comments to Pippies by the Bay restuarant and our night show staff.We are lucky to have such a wonderful backdrop to work with to develop our Shipwrecked Sound and Laser Show. Our precinct is actually State Heritage listed as it contains original and still operating lighthouses (2 of them) and the Warrnambool Garrison artillery placements.The story you witnessed is of on of Australia's most dramatic wrecks and yes the show does engage you with the technology and 4D effects.If you come through the day you can see Victoria's largest and most signficant shipwreck collection. He volunteers through the week in our education program with chidlren who he entertains with his passion. He thencomes in through the weekend to welcome guests to the village and detail his deep knowledge of the maritime heritage.I will be sure to pass on your comments to him.

Thank you for your comments. I am sorry to hear about your experience with our reception staff members. I have checked with the staff and they did respond to your query about the lights being out in our shipwreck museum. There was a power trip switch that had turned off the lights and they were able to reset it after you had advised us of the lights being out. I am sorry you had a perception they werent interested but they have responded to the information and reset the lights.Also we are about to launch a $3m upgrade to the village experiences and yes the first theatre will be upgraded also.

very clean, great night show,coffee and tea and cold drinks for kids available and food, good attractions to.

Tells a great story of the early days around the area, does seem a bit dated though and there were not many visitors unfortunately, made it feel very empty. The lookouts are great and is a very good example of the early defences to our shorelines.

Flagstaff Hill is worth a visit for both children and adults it depicts the way of life of a late 1800s port do not miss the light and sound show

After many trips down this way, we decided on taking in the show. The whole presentation was very good. I took the walk but there was a transport deal as well. During the walk over cobble stones we stopped at several locations and our guide (accompanied by the resident feral cat) explained various aspects of the village and Loch Ard shipwreck. The show took us 2 aspects - screen show and followed by a very good laser segment. Excellent presentation and thoroughly enjoyed despite sitting on wooden bench seats. We also decided on a dinner package for our Flagstaff Shipwrecked light show. A very average meal. Poor decision! There are a number of better options for dinner in Warrnambool prior to the show. My recommendation is for a meal elsewhere before heading to the show.
