Very impressive garden with historical roses and very well maintained - a wonderful surprise on our visit

This rose garden really is a credit to the volunteers who tirelessly work and mantain it . It is a perfect setting for beautiful wedding photos or any special occasion you need a lovely backdrop

Morwell has a lot to offer and it's not too far from Melbourne or many other wonderful areas like Inverloch, Walhala etc... it has a wonderful Art Gallery, the Centenary Rose Garden is AMAZING, and the Morwell National Park is really worth checking out. Great eating places like Salt Bush Restaurant, or Gastronomy are first class; and people are friendly.

The gardens were beautiful, very well maintained. The roses were past their best but still very pretty. I would have liked more time to wander but we had a friend with us that couldn't walk. If we are in town again we would certainly have another look.

The garden was impeccably cared for and a delight to wander in! The colours and varieties of blooms was incredible.

Nice to visit and relax. Gardens are always lovely, well cared for. It is a nice place to just sit, relax and take in the beautiful gardens.

This is a lovely public rose garden which extends for perhaps 500 metres at the western entrance to the town of Morwell. All varieties of roses are clearly labelled. In October, it is a joy. In winter, rose pruning exhibitions are held and the cuttings are available to the public.

We decided to avoid the horses in Melbourne this year & head to Morwell to see the Centenary Rose garden in full bloom. What an absolute delight it was to see the spectacular display of roses, beautifully maintained & set out with thought for the best affect. We sat and had a picnic lunch before setting off, camera in hand to view the magic display.The full affect of the gardens, the perfume and the magnificence is hard to describe; best see it for yourself.Morwell is a well kept country town and a pleasure to visit.

The rose garden is spectacular in spring when all the roses are in full bloom! We recently visited in winter and although no roses in bloom, it is a beautiful park!

The rose garden is a great spot to visit, maintained by the local community, with a great collection of roses which are a pleasure to wander through. Spread over a large area within the centre of town, it is very accessible and a great place to stop and relax.

This well established garden of roses is a compliment to the City of Morwell and well worth a visit.

This garden is terribly serene...located near the town centre. It's very relaxing to follow the meandering paths through this garden... The roses are labelled for rose enthusiasts who wish to emulate this garden at home. The rose garden extends across the road and the town has wonderful rose gardens throughout, almost like a theme for the town. I would recommend it as a copacetic way to spend an hour.

was unaware that this rose garden existed until suggested we go and visit and if you are a garden lover you should not miss it - very rose one can think of is on display and done so well it is a credit to Morwell.
