A great place to go and have fun for the entire family. Picking fresh blueberries and strawberries is a family friendly great thing to do. If you don't want to pick them yourself you can buy them already picked. They do not use any chemicals so you can eat them soon after you pick them, no need to wash them. There are plenty of things to do there. The Berry Hill Cafe is a great place to enjoy a cup of coffee or a glass of wine not to mention their absolutely fabulous food. On the weekends there is live entertainment although you should check their schedule to see the times, also there is a magician performing for the kids during the summer. Saturday and Sundays there is also the "Produce Barn" on site that sells locally grown organic produce. I love this place
A delightfully casual cafe for light lunches or coffees and, if you go at the right time, you can enjoy either picking your own blueberries or just buying them at a very reasonable cost.We enjoyed a coffee and cheese cake, both of which were delicious. We sat outside in the shade and enjoyed the views. Well worth a visit for casual eating.
Australia Day long weekend drive... Everywhere was busy- weather being nice and not hot enough for the beaches... Fair to say a place like this was at capacity- but it was ok to park and pick berries. We popped into here and picked berries for an hour- good fun. A lot of people at the cafe so we did not stay for a drink or anything. Great set up for berry picking. We made sure there were berries before the detour checking their Facebook page. $18 a kg of fresh berries- we made blueberry pancakes when we got home.
Kids had a great time picking fresh organic fruit. Friendly staff and the food at the cafe was good to very good. Trying to cater fir gluten free and doing a pretty good job of it. Some nice fresh juices as well. We'll be back for some more superfood blueberries!
This place is great! The group of 4 of us first had lunch at the cafe here. The food took a little longer than expected but was mostly delicious. A must try is their Tuckerberry Hill burger - amazing and great value! Their 2 berry milkshake was also delicious. We then went to do some picking and it was lots of fun. The blueberry farm was quite big and the blueberries were a great value. Would definitely come back next time we are in the area.
We love this place so much, it is always on our "to visit" list when we're on the Bellarine! The kids absolutely love getting a bucket and picking their own berries.
Came down to Tuckerberry hill to spend a quiet Saturday afternoon. Not quiet blueberry picking season yet but able to pick strawberries. Had some wonderful home made food from the cafe and a very well made coffee! Beautiful way to spend the afternoon.
Tuckerberry hill is a nice place to pick a bucket full of blue berries,it can fill in a morning, and we top of our visit with scones and cream in the little restaurant on the hill, now the berries are not cheap but you buy them better then in the super market, and it is fun to stroll around while you fill your tummy and the bucket at the same time, when you get home spread them on a baking tray and pop them in the freezer, then once frozen you can plastic bag them with a seal, they last us the whole season as I pack them in serve portions, and each bag brings back the memory of the days visit, we go once a year and each time enjoy it.
We visited Tuckerberry Hill last year to get fresh fruit and vegetables. They also have run a weekend farmers market with a wide range of local produce. We had coffee in the cafe, and enjoyed a peaceful visit to this lovely area. We'd go back again, definitely.
My hubby , son and I went berry picking in February . We stayed at the Marcus Hill Big 4 & decided to go there . It was pretty good , reasonably priced too . I'd go back . We took home a kilo of strawberries and they had all gone the following day !
Easiest fruit to pick as you just tickle them! Great family outing. If cafe is open have a blueberry or strawberry soft serve ice cream or blueberry buckle cake. Yum and full of antioxidants!
Tuckerberry blueberry farm is a must visit attraction, locals and holidaymakers all love the freshly picked blueberries and preserves, there is also a produce barn on the weekends so that you can stock up on locally made preserves and soaps etc as well as fresh fruit and veg, refriger ated items are also available e.g. Cheeses and meat, and then when you have finished enjoy a cup of coffee in the garden! As the berries are either pick your own or ready picked, choose a sunny day and wear a hat and get picking!
It was a few days before the official blueberry season, and we hadn't checked. When we rolled up and no one was there, we were both very sad, but then the owner saw us and ran over to let us know 1) the blueberries weren't ripe enough, but 2) there were some strawberries, if we were interested. We ran out to pick and ended up picking along with the owner's daughter, who was feverishly picking strawberries to beat a change in the weather, and she told us a bit about the farm. The strawberries were plump and delicious, and we chowed through a bucketful in only a day or two!
