Very disappointed. Although a lot of work has been done here it is now looking very tired and in need of a good clean up. Ponds are full of algae, pathways unkept with unused materials lying around. Just seemed uninviting.

This evolving garden reaches its peak in October, but our two September visits were well worth the wander around the large area of garden and sculptures. The owners are on hand for informative conversations. $5 entry fee.

This is one couples lifetimes work to create a garden in a semi-arid zone where plants and animals can thrive, the planting is gorgeous, attracting many birds and insects and being home to numerous bearded dragons.The garden has been planned so there is something flowering all year round, Dragons Rest is biodiversity at work, from the soil to the treetops there is life everywhere.Dotted with ponds, bird baths, and carefully positioned nesting sites the birds seem to love visiting and even breeding here. It's a beautiful place to wander around, sit on one of the many benches and just watch what might come along.Brian & Barbara have lavished time and care to create a very unusual, interesting and totally unique environment. It's well worth going out of your way to spend a few hours here, feast your eyes on all the wonderful colours, listen to the birdsong and marvel at the bearded dragon lizards as they soak up the sun.
