canoe the riverland - day tours

Ruth and Jim are great hosts and know the river so well. Loved the professionalism and equipment good quality. Felt very safe. The lagoons are extremely beautiful. Will be going again for sure.

We loved the scenery, our tour guide and his great home cooked scones for morning tea on the banks of the River Murray. The birdlife was incredible.

Me and Hannah booked last minute a sunset tour with Bob; it was just us,I got to take some lovely pictures with my camera. No rush and some great sights, and what an awesome sunset from the kayak.Bob is very friendly and knowledgeable, highly recommended!

Two kayaks, a 2 man open canoe plus buoyancy aids and off we went with Bob on our morning tour of Ral Ral Creek which is a branch off the main Murray River. Bob was friendly and knowledgable as to the wild life and the area, telling us about past floods, why there are dead trees in the river, different types of birds and leading us to a couple of koalas in the trees.Half way through the morning we stopped for home made cakes and a drink. Highly recommended as a relaxing introduction to the river and its environs.
