My children & grandchildren, took me there for my 55th birthday. It was a day to remember and so interesting to see the animals from all around the world.

I liked the exciting things to do for adults and children. I love the animals and seeing, up close, nature at its best. Go and treat yourself to a wonder experience. you will love all there is to do and after you have visited the Zoo, go to O Max for something delicious to eat.

I go there with the kids every year. It's close to where we live and we are assured to heve a great time. We even tried the winter tour and it is excellent. There are less people and you can see a lot of animals. Most of them are very comfortable in the cold. Others are seen inside.Food at the restaurants are good, although there are mostly fast food. The site is very clean.Get there early: there can be a line up to get to the parking and then to the site entrance.

We went on the last weekend of the zoo. They had a Halloween theme, the staff were dressed up, and so were the kids. Lots of fun for the kids. Pay the few extra dollars and ride the monorail. Also interesting was the Australian Road Trip were you enter through a gate and the Wallabys are running around freely. They came by fairly close. The South Pacific Pavilion features a touch tank with sting rays. Another feature of the zoo are the Red Pandas which look more like Red Racoons. Many more interesting animals. We plan to return in the spring.

Is a great place to go in couple or in family. The animals their history plus u can even touch them is so nice.

I've been to Granby Zoo two years in a row and I plan on going back again. There is such a diverse assortment of animals here and they all have good enclosures, sizeable (for the most part). The zoo is well laid out and having the Amazoo (water park) on site, it's perfect if you want to split the day up. The prices of food are expensive, but that's to be expected with zoos and theme parks. We usually rent a cabana at the waterpark. It's a big hut with an enclosure around it with multiple loungers, a big table and chairs, fans, and a lock box were we put our cooler and other belongings before we go spend time in the zoo. That way we don't have to carry food around while seeing the animals but we also don't have to go back to the car either. It's a nice private escape. Very impressed with this zoo!

We went here with another couple last summer, and we all had a blast. My Fiancee was pregnant at the time and the other couple had a young child, so we rented a wheelchair just to be on the safe side. The Zoo is nice and clean with a nice layout. There's a nice small water park for the kids to have fun in and cool down in summer.We stayed at a hotel in Montreal and just did a daytrip. I'd go again once our little one is old enough to appreciate zoo's.

This was a day trip on a visit to Montreal -- and well worth it. The down side is the remote parking is truly remote and not very easy to find / or go between the parking and zoo. But the exhibits were really quite good and the day was very enjoyable

a fairly well laid out park with several different sections, African, Asian, S.A. and a couple of animals you usually don't see....snow leopard, red pandas.most animals seemed to be in good shape although merkats, jaguar were very obviously stressed.all in all, worthwhile and especially good for kids...lots of scary snakes, huge jellyfish tank and camel rides. also, a "farm section" with barnyard animals.plenty of restrooms, places to rest and eat. price is not too bad.plan on 5/6 hours to see everything, have lunch, etc. happy trails.

Great family trip! Cost is very reasonable and Granby Zoo has lots to see and is very clean. We spent 2 days. Granby is a nice town with several Restaurant options.

This zoo is a great place to see animals and to have a pleasant moment. Next to it there is the aquatic centre and this is really fun. It offers a great mix between discovery and gun in water !Only issue is the parking has the one clues to the zoo gets full and you need to get parked at 5 km and commute in school busses... The wait is not too long despite the long long queue... We waited only 15 minutes so it was ok. A good family moment!

We just visited Granby Zoo for the first time, and I look forward to our return. We easily spent 5 hours looking at the animals, riding the rides (some are included in admission and some have a small fee), and eating lunch. We will have to save the water park for another day! Plenty of shade, even on a hot summer day, and although we purchased lunch there, I noticed there was an ample number of shaded picnic tables with plenty of encouragement to pack your own picnic lunch. It was an hour and 15 minute drive from Montreal but well worth it!

Great place for the kids. We stayed for 2 days and went to both the water park (at the far end of the zoo) and zoo itself. Massive amounts of people but the place handles it really well with food stands (fully licensed) everywhere so you don't have to wait long. Go early in the day (literally at opening or you will be sorry) in order to get parking. Also, save plenty of time for the water park!

There are many things to do at this Zoo. The lazy river was relaxing and we did it many times. The wave pools were very good just hold on to your bathing suit and little kids because they are strong waves. Definitely would go again.

Going to that Zoo each year, and there's always a new theme, a new attraction. Kids loved the aerial train and the wait was shorter than it looked. Do not go during the worker's vacations - too crowded. Expensive, but you could bring your own lunch.
