Great family time while in the Mont Ste Anne area. Absolutely beautiful falls with an opportunity to get very close to the water (or in it). Don't be turned off by the nearly 400 steps down to the bottom, but know you'll probably feel them the next day!

It took some time to figure out where to access the falls but worth the time. Drive up 360 until you cross the bridge and on the right you will see the cars. The sign there says Sainte Ferreol les neiges. It is not a formal lot. Across the field and the path is obvious. This is not for those who have difficulties getting around. After a 15 minute walk you will be beside an incredible series of pools. Keep going and you descend 361 stairs to a waterfall that falls fast enough that it creates wind. The walk back up makes up for the calories at one of the great QC restaurants.

Found this waterfall to be much nicer then the sept chutes. We were able to get close to the water and small rapids before the waterfall and get some great photos. A word of warning, if you are unable to climb stairs then this hike is not for you, there are approximately 400 stairs to descend to see the falls. Then you need to climb them back up to return to your vehicle.

Park in the gravel area immediately West of the driving range and follow the path through the woods. There is a map for this loop trail which passes the bottom of John Larose Falls. The kids spent hours playing in the water at the base of the falls. The wet rocks are extremely slippery, we lost a pair of prescription sunglasses! The steps may seem daunting, but if my 83 yo dad hiked them.

This area offers great hiking trails along spectacular waterfalls. You can go hire a professional guide for canyoning (rappelling down the falls or nearby them). You can park along route 138. If you are staying at the Mont Sainte-Anne Chalets or Chalet-Village Mont Sainte-Anne, it's a short hike to a trailhead that leads you to the falls. You can get maps from whomever you're renting a chalet.Please be sure to carry out your trash. There was a pile of trash from inconsiderate hikers stuffed into a fire pit near the base of the main falls. My wife and I packed out empty plastic bottles and candy bar wrappers while hiking back to our car on the loop trail.

Really loved this little hidden gem of a waterfall. The bottom waterfall has quite a dramatic drop. The stairs were quite the adventure - wow - extremely steep at spots. We all enjoyed it though, it was very memorable...and free!

its a 15 minute from the Chateau mont Ste anne and a walk through the woods and down over 500 very steep stairs, u need to be careful and best to wear running shoes.Saw a number of people jump from the top of the first waterfall but should be for experience people. Keep going to the bottom and it is well worth the trip down. Make sure to have water handy and a camera.The climb back up is a bit tough but there are rest areas.

Un très bel endroit les chutes sont incroyables. En plus vous avez le défi des marches qui est quelque chose.on peut pic niquer en bas .j'ai même vu des campeurs. Vous pouvez vous promener une grosse heure pour faire le tour du site et un sentier assez abrupte pour remonter jusqu'au stationnement en haut .par contre il y as des avis de présences d'ours possible ce qui as créé un silence de 4 minutes entre moi et ma blonde. Hahaha!! C'est très beau!!

Il faut mériter les chutes car il y a 360 marches à descendre pour les voir mais cela vaut le coup! Ce site est vraiment niché au coeur de la nature et superbe surtout à l'automne!

Vous pouvez stationner au Mont-Sainte-Anne, parc récréotouristique, stationnement principal P-1**. A partir du stationnement, suivre le trottoir longeant le petit lac et dirigez-vous vers la route principale, 360 Est. Traversez celle-ci. Vous allez apercevoir des panneaux. Suivre le trajet indiquant le chemin des chutes et Mestachibo. Traversez le pont de bois. A votre droite, prenez le chemin indiquant Chute Jean-Larose et suivez le chemin des Chutes.Il y a un demi-kilomètre à parcourir pour arriver à la chute. Si vous voulez admirer la chute et vous baigner au bas de celle-ci, sachez qu'il y a près de 400 marches à descendre et naturellement qu'il faut les remonter... L'escalier est à forte inclinaison sur au moins 250 mètres. Les paliers et les marches peuvent être irréguliers, glissants et mouillés. Donc, soyez TRÈS PRUDENTS. Ces escaliers ne sont pas entretenus entre novembre et mai.Sachez qu'il est possible de faire le sentier en boucle à partir du bas de la chute. Environ 4 km pour revenir à la route 360. Le sentier est considéré comme Difficile. Nous ne l'avons pas fait, donc je ne peux pas le commenter.Vous pouvez aussi parcourir le sentier Mestachibo( www.mestachibo.com). Celui-ci est une randonnée de 12 km menant à l'église Saint-Ferréol-des-Neiges. Il suit le cours de la rivière Ste-Anne sur la presque totalité du parcours. Pendant la randonnée, deux passerelles suspendues(70 mètres) et vous pouvez arrêter à 2 belvédères aménagés. Vue sur le canyon. Toutes ces activités sont gratuites. **Stationnement Mont Ste-Anne, stationnement principal P1, 2000, boul. du Beau-Pré, Beaupré. Au stationnement, demandez la carte des sentiers pédestres du Mont Ste-Anne et les informations pour les chutes sont clairement indiquées.A 42 km du Vieux Québec

Possibilité de débuter ou terminer le sentier pédestre mestachibo par ces marches ( beaucoup de marches!).Secteur bien aménagé ( marches, banc de parc, point de vue etc).La vue des chutes à partir des marches est superbe et ca vaut la peine de descendre jusqu'en bas pour les admirer. Situé à 5 min à pied du mont st-anne. Stationner au mont st-anne et traverser la rue.
