burnaby mountain golf course & driving range

This is one of the better public courses in Vancouver. They have a large driving range facility which I've used many times, and I've never had any issues finding a place to hit balls.

Challenging golf! Beautiful scenery in Burnaby. A favourite with locals for a pitcher of beer and great food. Not always a burger here!

Inconsistent greens. Some were fast others were super slow. Not enough of a gap between groups which makes for a wait on every tee box. Painful! Course was boring... Nothing special.Traffic in the area was horrendous. Upside is the cost $31 for twilight is a good price at peak season. Does not compare to Riverway, the other Burnaby golf course.

One of the best deals in the lower mainland. Course is in great shape. Good variety of holes that tests the golfing skills. Need to get an early booking time to be finished in good time but the course marshalls have improved pace of play over the last few years. Watch out for the crows at the 10th hole and a few other spots. They are smart. Any food left visible is gone. They can even open the zippers on your golf bag.

Perhaps the best golfing deal in the lower mainland. A full 18 holes that requires some golfing skill. Very busy and unfortunately slower than most other courses because it is such a good deal. The city takes great care of this course and keeps it playable year round. Pro shop, restaurant, driving range (mats), putting greens and chipping greens with bunkers. Great practice facility with lessons if you want them.
