garibaldi springs golf course

Played here about ten years ago and it was a fantastic little golf course and so I thought I would take my wife and stop in and play on our way to Whistler last weekend.What a mistake. I had no idea and was not informed that it had been closed for years and only opened recently with gravel greens and little else. What a joke. Played the first hole, if you can call it that and then went back to the hotel to demand my money back only to have the front desk girl tell me it had been closed for years and only recently opened up again. Are you serious, might want to inform your customers about what a piece of junk this thing is ??You guys should be ashamed of yourselves for even trying to pass this off as a golf course let alone charge $20.Your website, facebook page, score cards and everything else makes it look like the real golf course it was years ago but it is not even close. It was kinda like a bad horror movie.Even worse is the Garibaldi Springs Golf Resort sign is still at the entrance to the Executive Suites hotel that is on sight. If I was a tourist from out of country I would book a room thinking that I was staying at a golf resort only to my horror would I find that is certainly not the case. Take the sign down, delete your website and facebook page and let is place grow over as the only thing it is good for is letting the geese graze on it.

What a joke. Your golf course should be free at the most. I wouldn't play there again if you payed me. My gravel driveway is in better shape than your greens. I have to replace a few of my clubs because of these conditions. The greens are 80% dirt 15% weeds and 5% grass. The pictures online are very misleading. Didnt stay in hotel, only played the course.
