I attended this museum with my son's class during a year end trip and had a great time. The staff was knowledgeable and the museum was packed full of interesting items. We will absolutely return as a family at a later date. The facility is new and well kept and within walking distance of the Drummond Hill Cemetery (our museum guide took us on a tour of the cemetery and explained it's historical significance during the War of 1812). The low cost of admission and tour is well worth it. The museum is a hidden gem. You should go!

Did know about this until we did a google search. Spent a few hours exploring the museum. Recommend.

since I had not been to the falls for some time, I did not realize the museum had been relocated. My wife had never been there at all, so I wanted her to see all the things that people went over the falls in. She was impressed,as anyone would be. The theatre was a pleasant addition and provided another dimension to the whole visit. Should not be missed.

This will cost you $15 for a family of four. There is a fim show of short clips of Canada's history, it does go on for a long time and you would think that the Canadian's invented everything, however some of it was interesting. You also dress up as soldiers from the civil war and hold replica guns etc which is good for the kids and on the first floor is the history of the falls which was very interesting.

my family really enjoyed our visit. Great exhibit for the war of 1812 and general history of Niagara Falls. Very modern and bright museum. Good to combine with other things to do while you are in the area..friendly staff

This museum was very nice; however, our trip was very short. We expected a little more but found the information and displays very informational. The gentleman at the front desk was very friendly and had a conversation with my husband and answered some questions that we had. I would recommend others to visit the Niagara Falls History Museum. It's prices are very reasonable and you gain a little more knowledge. I also liked that there were old uniforms and hats from the War of 1812 that guests were allowed to try on. We were also allowed to hold muskets, like the ones used in the war, which was very neat.

Very interesting to see the history of the falls, and how they've moved since they were first recorded.

Only $15 for family of 4. Great Little museum! Great staff and interesting exhibit. Small but a good way to spend an hour.

Nice little escape out of the rain. My husband loves history and museums and I can tolerate them for an hour or so... This was the perfect combination! Staff was friendly and knowledgeable. It was a lovely time!

The Niagara Falls History Museum along with it's subsidiaries the Battle Ground Hotel and Willoughby Historical Museum are a great way to step away from the lights and attractions on Clifton Hill and see a living piece of Niagara Falls' very interesting history. The curatorial staff work tirelessly to ensure that the museum is a well rounded representation of the history of Niagara Falls. They also work to engage the community with weekly outreach events (dancing and movie nights); living history events, such as their cemetery tours and Victorian Carolers; and organizing once in a lifetime experiences such as their Battle-of-Lundy's-Lane walk. Absolutely worth stopping by their three sites and taking advantage of any outreach programs that they are offering. Enjoy!

If you have an hour to spare this small museum is worth seeing. On this visit they had a great exhibit on currency - old and new. A brief history of the war of 1812 and of cousrse a floor dedicated to the Falls. Not much time required to go through but the admittance price was very reasonable -$5 per person!

My wife and I visited this small museum before visiting the Lundy's Lane Memorial. We particularly enjoyed the exhibits related to the War of 1812 and the Falls. We had fun playing with the items that were probably intended for kids: we each put on War of 1812 jackets and shakos for photographs, built a model bridge over the Falls Gorge, and tried our luck at "walking across the Falls" (at which we failed miserably -- we'll leave that to Nik Wallenda).

Small, exhibits were boring. Cant believe they charge to get in. Spent more time in parking lot looking for geo-cache with my son.

We stopped by and looked at all of the crazy ways people had gone over the falls!! Entertaining but small. 30 minutes is plenty of time here.

Informative but nothing spectacular, a bit slow. Nice to get out of the heat and humidity and watch the show.
