the arts & cookery bank

My husband and I had the pleasure of spending a some time at this unique community bank. We enjoyed the tour of the place and were so impressed with all the work that has been accomplished by this organization for their community. It is wonderful to see the bank of photos from the past and looking over all the fading communities. I only wish we had a similar bank in our area. They have cooking classes and I am considering booking a local B&B with friends and then all of us going to a cooking class at the bank. They will put private cooking classes on for groups. Wonderful place. I love the idea of fundraising using the "Remembering ..." stones in the placeways. Just a great place. Wonderful work by local volunteers!! Well done.
