A jeepney ride from town, then a juddering ride on a motorcycle pillion up to the national park. From there it's legwork up the mountain slopes on rough paths through tropical rainforest to the waterfall, which made me want to do a Tarzan whoop. On a weekday we had the place to ourselves, swimming in the warm, clear water. A lovelier experience can't be imagined.

These falls are located in the national park, so that same problems exist with getting there. There is pretty much no guaranteed way to get there and back. But, if you get there... they are awesome! Water is chilly, but well-worth a dip!

It really is a rainforest up there, so be prepared for sporadic rain! Watch out for leeches if you brush up against plants along the way. I didn't think the hike was to difficult or long at all. The falls are nice, though overall I enjoyed the area and waterfalls on the other side of Mt. Isarog a bit more. At least I THINK they were on the other side.

A bit of a trek to get there but well worth it. Paths and walkways had fallen into disrepair and coupled with the spray from the falls it makes for a slippery path. If you're thinking of a dip the water is cold !

The falls themselves are spectacular but the hike down to see them is quite dangerous with slippery and eneven steps. Fallen trees lie over the path in parts and you have to skirt around them with a cliff off to your side. Having a guide with me was a life-saver. To get a good picture of the falls at the bottom, you have to walk over slippery boulders. Again, it was helpful having a guide. You can swim in the natural pool beneath the falls.
