butterfly haven

Wonderful place to spend a morning, even if you have no interest in butterflies. Intend to make it a regular stop when we visit El Valle. I know my English visitors will enjoy as there is nothing quite like it there.

Spent about an hour in the pavilion and the kids loved it. It's quite small, but we only shared with one other family, so lots of space for everyone. Lots of butterflies flying about, lots of photos of kids feeding them with big smiles. Well worth the time

We spent about 1 hour there, unbelievable considering it is a very small space. They don't have many butterflies to be honest but the guide is very helpful and very good with kids. They have a nice slideshow at the end. My kids (10 and 6) loved it. It was an interesting way to spend the morning.

The owner, an expat, has a real passion for butterflies. We expected the place to be bigger but if you like butterflies it's a must see in el Valle.

The haven is small, but the guides are very knowledgeable and the kids loved feeding the butterflies. Just as we finished, there was a torrential downpour. They let us wait it out in their lounge. We would go back.

Butterfly Haven is a small pavillon with different kinds of Butterflies. The staff is very friendly and explaining everything you want to know. Though its small and therefore 5$ are not really cheap.

only a $5 entry fee. lots of beautiful butterflies - staff was interesting and obviously loved their work. They encouraged you to touch a caterpillar etc My husband was wearing a red shirt and a butterly attached itself to his back . . .hope the pics came out !!
